So your working on a mod in blender, you go to export to giants editor…
The texture now is applied on the wrong side of that specific part of the model. Essentially turning it inside out.
To fix this we need the model in Blender…
Either export to .obj from giants editor or if you have the .blend file saved. Open with blender.
A few options to try…
Before doing these;
- Remove any duplicate vertices with “W”
- Remove Doubles and delete and faces that may be inside your mesh which could affect how the normals are calculated.
- Select all the vertices and use Ctrl+N to recalculate the face normals.
- Select the offending faces and PRESS W / select Flip Normals.
